1. About us
Dev2Manager is operated by Andrew Hinchcliffe as a sole trader, based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected]. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Dev2Manager.
2. What we sell
We sell live-virtual training courses delivered in small cohorts. Each course is offered for specific dates ("cohorts") with a stated maximum number of participants. Full details, dates, and pricing are shown on each course's page on this website.
3. Booking and payment
To book a course you must create an account and complete payment in full via our payment processor, Stripe. A booking is confirmed when Stripe notifies us that payment has succeeded; you will receive a confirmation email at that point. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable UK VAT.
If payment fails or is reversed by your bank or card issuer, your booking may be cancelled without notice.
4. Cancellation by you — Day 1 satisfaction guarantee
The Day 1 satisfaction guarantee applies only to multi-day courses (courses scheduled to run for more than one day). If you complete Day 1 of a multi-day course and feel it has not delivered value, contact us within 24 hours of the end of Day 1 and we will refund your booking in full. No questions asked. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
Single-day courses are not covered by the Day 1 satisfaction guarantee. Once a single-day course has begun, the booking is non-refundable.
If you cancel before the course begins, contact us at [email protected] and we will refund you in full, less any unrecoverable payment processing fees.
Once a multi-day course has begun and Day 1 has been completed without you raising a concern, the booking is non-refundable.
5. Cancellation or rescheduling by us
Cohorts run subject to a minimum number of participants. If a cohort is cancelled or rescheduled by us, we will offer you either a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort, at your choice. We are not liable for any other costs you incur as a result (for example, time off work).
6. Attendance and conduct
Courses are delivered live and interactively. We expect participants to attend on time, engage respectfully, and treat fellow participants in confidence. We reserve the right to remove a participant from a course without refund if their conduct prevents others from learning. Recording of sessions by participants is not permitted without our prior written consent.
7. Course materials and intellectual property
All course materials — slides, frameworks, handouts, recordings — are provided for your personal use during and after the course. You may not redistribute, resell, sub-licence, or use them to deliver competing training. The copyright remains with Dev2Manager.
8. Your data
How we handle the personal data you share with us is set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with your booking is limited to the amount you paid for the course. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version published on the date you completed your booking.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
